Sex Crimes

Pennsylvania Sex Crimes Attorney

The mere accusation of committing a sex offense can have devastating consequences on the rest of your life. As a former Assistant District Attorney prosecuting cases such as Rape, Internet Pornography, Sexual Assault and Sexual Abuse of Children, I know how police and prosecutors think in these types of cases. The authorities will often work tirelessly to prosecute you to the fullest extent of the law without cutting you the same break that other types of offenders would receive.

At a time like this your only hope is to retain a tried and confident criminal lawyer that will get you the best possible outcome in your case and minimize the effects of the prosecution. Before speaking to police or law enforcement contact Jason R. Antoine, Criminal Defense Attorney and schedule an appointment for a free consultation. Megan’s Law Registration Issues

Pennsylvania Megan’s Law Attorney

Pennsylvania sexual offenders and sexually violent predators are required to register with the Pennsylvania State Police (PSP) Megan’s Law Section. Offenders are searchable to the public via a web site maintained by the PSP Megan’s Law Section. You may visit the PSP Megan’s Law Website for detailed information regarding registration requirements. Failing to comply with the registration requirements is a felony offense in Pennsylvania and can result in additional jail time. It is not worth the risk! Contact Jason R. Antoine, Criminal Lawyer, with any registration issues.

If registration with the PSP Megan’s Law Section is required because of an out of state conviction, the out of state crime must be similar or equivalent to one of the Pennsylvania sex offenses. A trained criminal defense attorney may be able to distinguish the out of state crime from the Pennsylvania crime and have your name pulled from the sex offender registry. I may be able to negotiate with the police to have your name taken off the registry or file a Motion for Post Conviction Relief. Call my office at 610.299.0295 for a free consultation.
