The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is located in the Northeastern and the Mid-Atlantic regions of the United States. Pennsylvania is also home to fifty Fortune 500 companies (Fortune 500 is a list of the top 500 U.S. companies based on their gross revenue which is published by Fortune magazine). For example U.S. Steel is a Fortune 500 company, and the integrated steel producer’s headquarters are located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Also contributing to Pennsylvania’s diverse economy is its banking, agriculture, and gambling.
